| I had a great hunt in Croatia. All the guides were very knowledgeable of the areas we hunted. The accommodations were fine and the people were very friendly and helpful. Although I only hunted two days, I was impressed with the number and quality of trophy animals. We found Croatia to be a very beautiful country with outstanding seafood. | I had a wonderful and successful time hunting Alpine Ibex near St. Maurice, Switzerland with Philippe Dubois Oct 2008. Hunting in the mountains over looking Lake Geneva is the most beautiful place I have ever hunted. Philippe is a great guide but in addition he picked us up at our hotel in Geneva, made all arrangements for our stay in St. Maurice, processed the trophy so I could take it with me on the airplane, and took us to the airport after a couple of days of sight seeing in St. Maurice. We enjoyed our stay in St. Maurice as it is a very old and interesting town of historical significance with good restaurants. | Bruce Kellen and I had a hunt cancelled in Africa because of ……….and we wanted to hunt in …. Spring. We talked with Sergio Dimitrijevic at OVIS and booked an exploratory hunt to Armenia for Armenian mouflon, Bezoar Ibex and Mideastern brown bear. We booked for early March but Sergio called right before we left and said don’t come the snow is still too deep. We really appreciated (page 4.) his call and we rescheduled for two weeks later. March 27th was perfect. The tops were still snow-covered and we found the rams right at the deep snow line. We saw three different groups of sheep but only 1 band of rams. There were 10 rams and 8 of them were shooters. Bruce took his at 430 yards with a borrowed gun. 4 days later we relocated the band and I collected my ram. ..... We had zero problems. It snowed on us several times but we could keep on hunting. The organization was excellent as good as Spain or East Africa. The country is safe and the people are friendly. | Firstly I wanted to thank you for the donation which caught my eye in the SCI auction last year. Jane and I extended this into what was an excellent 10 day holiday and terrific experience of Macedonia in general and hunting there in particular. I am sure Late has told you but overall I managed to shoot my Chamois, Mouflon, a very nice Wild Boar and what I think is going to turn out a gold medal Wolf (also a Fallow for the pot).
