August - November, March
In Kyrgyzstan, a small country at the slants of the Pamir, in the mountainous chain of the Tjan San, two kinds of Argali live, the Marco Polo, considered the biggest Argali in the world and the Tjan San Argali, a subspecies of which recently the biggest specimens have been shot, the world record of the Mark Polo sheep. In the high mountains, there lives a large ibex population, considered the world's largest. The last year€s world record came from Kirgizija. This hunt, as all the hunts in the high mountains, is very binding and asks for a good physical preparation of the hunter. The number of animals is very elevated, and the hunt develops by approaching by horse up to the level where these animals can arrive, which is always below the area of real hunting. The accommodation for the ibex and argali hunt is in the hunting lodges or in the cabins of the shepherds in the high mountains, while for the sheep of Mark Polo in the camps of yurte, since in the high ground inhabited by these animals, constructions don't exist. From the airport of Biskek, where our representative will meet You to help you with the custom procedure, you will be brought to the hunting area with a 4WD car, and from the base camp you will continue on horseback and afoot, hunting your trophies
