Maral Hunt
September - December
The hunting area we’re offering is situated in the Altay mountains to the North of Mongolia, in one of the wildest and least explored regions of Siberia. In order to reach the area it takes 800 km by car from the nearest airport in Novosibirsk.
The hunt is done over a 15.000 ha of fenced area with a great concentration of Marals whose horns in velvet are sold to the Chinese for their traditional medicine. Accommodation is in a hunting house with all amenities; the hunt is done on horseback or on foot and the trophy is guaranteed.
Rates:
7/5 hunting days including one Maral trophy fee (minimum 2 hunters) € 4.600
Second Maral trophy fee € 2.600
Rates Include:
Organization of the hunt with local guides, English speaking interpreter for each group, full board in the hunting house with services, transfers in a 4WD vehicle or on horseback during the hunt, hunting permits, field treatment of the trophy, shooting fee for one Maral.
Rates Don’t Include:
Airfares, transfer from the airport in Novosibirsk to the camp and back (€ 500 per group), visas, gun import permits, hotels before and after the hunt, tips, drinks and gratuities.
