Capercailzie and black cock
The hunt for Capercailzie and black cock is organized in areas around 200 km around Moscow, in the province of Rjazaj. The best period for this hunt is at the end of April when the birds are in the breeding phase. The hunt takes place at dawn with a local expert which guides the hunter towards the birds. The shooting is at distances of 20-30 meters with a shotgun rented from the local hunters. The sleeping takes place in local hunting houses with external services and typical Russian sauna.
