Location: Biokovo Mountain
AREA: close to Split
The Biokovo hunting area is located close to the Adriatic sea, in the proximity of the city Split. The area is situated on the mountain Biokovo at about 1.700m of altitude and it has a large population of Balcanic Chamois. This is the most famous reserve for Chamois in Croatia and it has been closed for foreign hunters for over 10 years.
The hunt is done by walking, but it is fairly easy, since there is a road which reaches the highest point of the mountain.
Lodging is in small hotels in Makarska, a tourist location by the sea.

| Rates include
Assistance at arrival at Split airport, transportation and lodging in small hotels, organization of the hunt, assistance of local guides, first preparation of the trophies, trophy fee for two chamois up to 105 points.
Rates do not include
Air fares to/from Split, interpreter – guide € 50 daily fee, tips , drinks and gratuities.
N.B. In Croatia 22% of the customs dues needs to be added up, and the Croatian Customs Office will refund this sum to the client when the trophy gets physically exported from Croatia. For the third chamois an extra of 550 € needs to be paid for the organization of the hunt.
