Spain is synonimous for the big game hunting in Europe. Its ancient hunting traditions and the abundance and variety of trophies, make it the top country for the organization of hunting in the old continent.
In the first place, among the trophies that can be harvested in the Iberian peninsula, there is without a doubt, the Spanish Ibex, with 4 different subspecies, the most appreciated trophy being the one that lives in the mountains of Beceite in the surroundings of Barcellona.
In two days of hunting, one can get good trophies also of other subspecies of the Spanish Ibex. Hunting is conducted in the mountains and a hunter needs a minimum necessary of physical preparation. Again in two days of hunting, it is possible to get some good trophies of Pyrenean or Cantabric Chamois With only one day of hunting, of course excluding the trip, it is possible to get a good trophy of Deer, Muflon sheep or Fallow deer, considering that these animals abound in the private reserves that we have chosen for you; this hunt is done by stalking and the professional hunter will point out the animals to shoot, and they are always above the bronze medal trophy.
Upon request, we can also organize for you a famous spanish "Monteria", the ungulate driven hunt that is the most traditional and ancient form of big game hunting in Spain. The "Monterias" are usually done with 32 hunters that with the aid of groups of dogs, the famous Spanish Podencos, have the possibility to shoot numerous deers and wild boars. The prices of the "Monterias" may vary a lot according to the quality and the fame of a reserve. All the "Monterias" are organized exclusively upon specific request.
