AREA: the North of Crimea
The hunting area is located in the North of Crimea, close to the city Dzankoj. A large number of Northern Pintails, Garganeys, Common Teals, Common Pochards and Mallards nest in this area and they area already present in the months of August and September. From October on migrations start, most of all of geese, Common Teals, Northern Pintails, Eurasian Wigeons, Northern Shovels and marine ducks. The area, 8000ha of marshes, is famous as the best place in Europe where Common Teals winter.
The hunt is done from fixed blinds, single or double, made out of reeds on the water in the marsh and the use of decoys and live calls is allowed.
