Mto Wa Mbu G.C.A. lies in the Rift Valley not far from Arusha (2 1/2 hrs. by car). It borders the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the East and Lake Manyara National Park to the North. Some of the finest hunting for Maasai species such as the Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk and Fringed Eared Oryx can be found out here. In the mountain forest of Lossimingor and along the escarpment of the Ngorongoro Conservation area you can hunt Buffalos all season round. During the dry months of August until October you most likely will hunt in the mountain from our LARO MOUNTAIN CAMP. During July and Nov./Dec. buffalo hunting is usually carried out from the main LOOSIMINGOR CAMP depending on the rainfall. The area is of great scenic beauty and very suitable to bring along non hunting guests.

Rates include
10 full hunting days under guidance by qualified P.H., 11 days full board accommodation incl. all drinks, all road transfers between airport, hotels and hunting area (2 1/2 hrs from Arusha), conservation fee (government fee, US$ 1.000.- per hunter; US$ 500.- per non-hunting guest), trophy export license (government fee, US$ 200.- per hunter), concession fee (US$ 2.500.- per hunter), field preparation of trophies & transport to Arusha for export, exportation of trophies (dipping, crating & documentation).
Rates do not include
International flight to Kilimanjaro/Tanzania direct (KLM, Condor) or via Nairobi (BA/Precision Air), hunting license (950 $ for 10 days hunt), rifle import/export license US$ 200.- per weapon incl. Import tax, Game Trophy Fees for animals shot or wounded, Tips to camp staff, Hotel accommodation in Arusha.
