The moose hunting area is situated at 200 km to the North of St Petersburg and can easily be reached from any point in Europe by daily flights. It is situated at the side of the Ladoga lake near the border with Finland. The hunting is done in two private reserves consisting respectively of 30 and 40.000 hectares.
The hunting is done in the roaring season in the end of September and beginning of October, or by driven hunts from the end of October to December.
Accommodation is in hunting houses with services, in the hunting area.
