The hunting area we offer is situated in the zone of the famous Scotish Islands, or more precisely on the Cowal Peninsula, at about 180km from Glasgow. The territory is covered with numerous forests and typical clearings, on which roe deer and red stags on stalking or roaring are hunted. This is a highly sporting hunt, done on foot, and the animals are really wild. It takes a lot of effort to get a good trophy. The gamekeeper which will accompany you during the hunt knows the reserve really well, and will help you shoot the best possible trophy in the short time. The best period for roe deer hunt are the first two weeks of May, whereas for the red stag roaring is from September 20 till October 20.
Because of the complicated rifle import procedure, we can provide for our clients the rifles with telescope of the cal. 7 mm Rem. Mag and 270 Winc., which can be rented at EUR100 for the shooting + the ammunition.
Lodging is organized in small hotels or hunting lodges, situated in the vicinity of the reserve.
