Macedonia – Roe Deer

Roe deer hunts open from this year in Macedonia, starting on May 1. Over the last few years, Roe deer population in Macedonia has increased significantly. Local hunters do not hunt much for this specie, since it is new and they are not used to his hunt. It is because of this that one can encounter important trophies and very old Roe deer, many dark in color typical for woods.
The hunt is organized by stalking or waiting, in the morning and afternoon. The best season for this hunt is in the first two weeks of May and in the first half of august, during the breeding season. The hunting area offers a small, but comfortable hunting house, where lodging during the hunt is foreseen.
