The hunt is performed stalking on foot in mountain areas at altitudes between 1600 and 2500 m. In some cases hunts may be organized in lower areas in Valcea region, where altitudes vary between 1200 and 1400 m, especially in rocky areas covered with specific vegetation.
Generally in Rumania average trophy size is around 100 CIC points in all hunting areas, trophy quality is such that a medal trophy may be easily expected. Hunting is done by staking on foot all day and the hunter will be assisted by a professional guide. For a successful hunt we recommend at least 3 hunting days. Breeding seasons runs from October 10 through November 10, but it may vary slightly depending on climate.

100 – 104 CIC points €1.700 + €120 every point over 100
105 – 109 CIC points €2.300 + €150 every point over 105

Rates include

Transport to/from Bucharest and the hunting area, all transport in the hunting ground, login and full board in hunting houses or small hotels in town, 3 day of hunting organization with the assistance of local guides, interpreter guide, field treatment of trophies.

Rates don't include

National and International air fares to Bucharest, alcoholic beverages, animal shot and lost €1.000, missed shot €125, tips, drinks and personal extras.
