Serbia – Wild Boar Fruska Gora
October 20 – January 15
Wild boar driven huts are organized in Fruska Gora national park, close to the city of Novi Sad. The hunting area is on a low mountain in the midst of Vojvodina plains, along the river Danube. The mountain is covered in thick oak and tilia forests. A large drive is organized in the morning, with the assistance of several groups of dogs and drivers. Locations are assigned by extraction, as is custom for driven hunts. After the hunt, a traditional lunch is organized for the group.
Lodging can be in hotels in the nearby city of Novi Sad or in rural hotels in the mountain.
