Serbia – Wolf

 In Serbia

November – February

The number of wolves is in strong increase in Serbia over the last few years, creating a number of problems to agricultures and farmers. In order to keep the population within acceptable numerical limits, many driven hunts are organized in various parts of Serbia, but the results in a driven hunt are not very good. The hunt with the highest success rate is on bait, from specially prepared and heated blinds, waiting in the night. Over the last few years several hunting areas are specializing in this type of hunt with excellent results! We have chosen the one with the best results, located approximately 200 km south of Belgrade. The hunters stay in wait with a local guide in the blind with an available bed, where he/she can rest, while the guide keeps on the lookout for the arrival of wolves. During the day the hunter will stay at a local hotel.
