Slovenia – Bear

 In Slovenia

October – November,
March – April
full moon nights

Bear hunts in Slovenia are organized in the wild mountains in the south of the country, on the border with Croatia. The hunt is organized in waiting from fixed blinds and baits. The wait is organized on full moon nights and the hunter may take the shot once the bear has come out on the bait and the guide has given the sign to do so. Bears in Slovenia are not very large, but gold medal animals over 300 CIC points can be encountered without difficulties. Smaller bears, up to medal, are very numerous since the population is rapid increase and has many young. Bear hunts in Slovenia are open only some years, when the EU decides to open it. During 2017 this hunt will be open and we have the possibility to offer it for our hunters.
