Serbia – Woodcocks

 In Woodcocks

October – November

Our hunting areas for woodcock in Serbia are located between 200 and 300 km south of Belgrade, in the general direction of Macedonia, between Boljevac and Bela Plaanka. The terrain is of medium height mountains covered in typical oak vegetation, favored by woodcocks. Woodcocks reach these territories at the beginning of October and they stay until December, when they start their southward migration pushed by the oncoming snows. One can have 10 or more encounters daily with a good dog, making this area one of the best in Europe for this type of hunt. The hunting area is of soft hills covered in thick vegetation.
